Welcome to the 100 Church Gate Consultation Site

Mayforth and its design team would like to thank you for visiting this community consultation page in connection with its proposals to redevelop the site at 100 Church Gate in Leicester.

Plans have been created to deliver new high-quality build to rent accommodation along Church Gate within the city centre which respects the townscape and historical significance of the local area whilst embracing contemporary living.

The current Matalan building which was constructed in the 1980s will be demolished and replaced with an attractive, vibrant, and welcoming development comprising 262 residential apartments. This residential offer will include a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bed units, alongside internal and external amenity space for residents to enjoy.

Mayforth is currently preparing a planning application, which will be submitted to Leicester City Council in due course. On the following pages you will find information relating to the proposed development, including the timescales in which an application intends to be submitted.

Should you have any comments on the proposals please complete the form by hitting the ‘Have Your Say’ button, or email [email protected], before the consultation deadline closes on Wednesday 11th May.
