Mayforth

Mayforth is the development partner under which Hornbeam will deliver 100 Church Gate on receipt of a planning consent.

Mayforth’s aim is to provide enhanced living experiences for residents with a sense of place making and services that will connect residents to the local community where people can work and live and connect in a sustainable environment.

Mayforth has over 40 years of combined experience with current projects in the residential sector in excess of £85 million. Mayforth focus on providing opportunities to joint venture partners, property owners and funders from inception through to completion.

Current projects include a forward funding of 261 residential units in Central Milton Keynes, Enigma Square, for Grainger Plc. Mayforth took this project from purchase through the design phase to successful planning and forward funding and are overseeing the construction management through to completion anticipated in Q4 2022 for Grainger Plc.

Phase 1 of the project involved the delivery of a new 200 bed YMCA building and Mayforth worked closely in a complex process with Milton Keynes Council, YMCA Milton Keynes and Homes England along with the contractor Bowmer & Kirkland.

This new development in Milton Keynes totals over 300,000 sq.ft of residential space along with car parking, public realm and commercial/amenity space for residents bringing new life to the area.

The scheme as a whole will provide homes to over 500 individuals in studios, 1 bed and 2 and 3 bed apartments with facilities and services fit for the current modern living.

    In October 2023 we invited members of the public to learn more about the proposals for the redevelopment of 100 Church Gate in Leicester and provide their comments.

    The public consultation is now closed – thank you to all those who participated.

    A planning application has been submitted to Leicester City Council and validated under the reference PL/AS/20232142. Formal consultation of local residents and businesses on the proposals is underway. The City Council will have 13 weeks in which to determine the planning application.
